Rafael Marquez Signs with New York Red Bulls

How exciting! The NY Red Bulls need some defense. I watched the game over the weekend on TV and the MLS players really suck. Thierry Henry was running circles around them and not even breaking a sweat! However, some of the Red Bulls players are really awful. It's like watching college players.

Mexican captain Rafael Marquez has signed with the MLS team, New York Red Bulls, becoming their third designated player along with Juan Pablo Angel and recently-signed superstar Thierry Henry.

The 31-year-old has spent the last seven years of his playing career with Spanish giants FC Barcelona, but was released on Saturday and has joined the Red Bulls on a free transfer.
