Radiohead Concert Stage Collapse - 1 Dead

A crew member is dead after a stage collapsed at Downsview Park in Toronto hours before a Radiohead performance. At least three other people were injured.

It's that season again. Last year there were so many stage collapse news, with the most notorious one being the Sugarland Stage Collapse at the Indiana State Fair.

From THR:

A stage technician was killed and at least three people were seriously injured after a stage collapsed at Toronto's Downsview Park just hours before Radiohead was to take the stage, according to a CBC report.

Emergency crews were first called in around 4 p.m. ET, with as many as five ambulances, two police cars and a firetruck arriving at the scene.

The gates had been scheduled to open at 5 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. showtime, and thousands were already lined up when representatives from Live Nation, the concert's producers, announced the show had been canceled.
