Questlove to Play Dead Body on 'Law & Order: SVU'

Questlove is a busy man. Not only is he the founder of The Roots, and not only is he the bandleader of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he's now also...well, a dead guy.

Law & Order: SVU star Ice-T tweeted a picture of Questlove on the show's set, for an episode in which the Afro-sporting musician plays a dead body in the morgue:

This cameo fulfills one of Questlove's dreams, as the musician revealed in a "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" piece for Us Weekly in November 2013: "It's my fantasy to play a dead body on 'Law & Order.'"

Not long after Ice-T posted the photo, Questlove tweeted: "See @UsWeekly? Dreams come true!"

No word on how Questlove's character ends up dead, although it stands to reason it has something to do with the bullet hole in his head. But kudos on the Afro pick for staying put. If you're going to play dead, might as well play dead in style. Questlove's episode is scheduled to air some time in March, although you won't have to wait that long for new episodes. The series returns from hiatus on February 26.
