Quentin Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight' Coming in Fall 2015

Quentin Tarantino is refusing to let The Hateful Eight die. Despite rumors that Tarantino was going to cancel the project following the script being leaked online, the movie is very much alive. After the official poster and a theatrical teaser trailer were released, all we needed was a release date to get the ball really rolling. And now we have that release date...kind of.

The Weinstein Company has announced in a press release that not only will they release Tarantino's The Hateful Eight in the fall of 2015, but production will begin on the film in January. Furthermore, The Hateful Eight will be shot on 65mm film and have the widest 70mm film release in over 20 years, adding to the momentousness of Tarantino's 19th Century Western.

No casting news yet, but I'd say it's just about time to get excited all the same.
