'Psych' To End After Eight Seasons

I'm not okay. In fact, I'm quite upset. It was announced today that Psych, the beloved crime comedy, would be ending after eight seasons.

Someone hold me.

The series finale has been set for March 26th at 9 pm ET/PT. A special one-hour live show, Psych After Show, will follow the episode at 10 pm ET/PT. This will feature a Q&A discussion with series creator Steve Franks and the entire cast.

“Psych has made an indelible imprint on the television landscape, with a unique brand of comedy,” said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network, in a statement. “The final season celebrates the iconic characters that have made this show so beloved, and will be an exclamation point on the series’ incredible run. And while the series will wrap in March somehow I don’t believe we’ve heard the last of Shawn and Gus.”

Will we be seeing Psych in some other form?

Psych's leading men James Roday and Dule Hill released a video announcing the final episode of the series. You can watch that below:

Psych airs Wednesdays on USA Network. It will take a break for the Olympics and return on February 26th.
