Props to the Apple Store

So my iMac conked out right before America's Next Top Model yesterday, which was a total bummer since I wasn't able to record Lost in HD, and make some timely screencaps and vids for the biggest results show of the American Idol season which featured Elliott Yamin. We had the most visitors in one day for the year yesterday, which topped both the day after Blake's "You Give Love a Bad Name" and Sanjaya's elimination.

After watching Lost, I packed the iMac and took a taxi to the Apple Store. There I was greeted by Rob, who remembered me from my previous visits, the last one being in September last year. It looked like a power supply issue, and it was replaced in 15 minutes. They probably had a slow day today because of the rains, but going in there at 11:30 PM and getting your power supply replaced in 15 minutes is impressive. Thank god for 3-year warranty (which ends in December).

So the iMac is up and running again. Kudos Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, you've done a great service to rickey.org fans all over.
