Execute each other's design work! OMG, what a perfect recipe for disaster.
"Successful designers do not make their own work," said Michael Kors -- which is what I said about Michael Costello when everyone was hating on him for weeks now.
The partnerships of note were:
Mondo and Michael C - At first Mondo was disappointed, but they ended up as buddies! Too bad Mondo's design itself and not Michael's execution landed him in the bottom.
Ivy and Michael D - OMG Ivy is such a control bitch, LOL. "I can feel her crazy," said Michael. The result of this partnership? Michael D ending up in the top three and Ivy ending up in the bottom. Again, it was Ivy's design which she inexplicably blamed on Michael D's sewing skills.
The other top dresses were from April and Andy, and the other bottom dress was from Casanova.
Kristen Bell was guest judge.
OK I think I'm finally into this season as I got a few laughs from this episode. I still feel that the show is running a bit long, but I'm getting used to it. (When Thursdays get too busy again, I think I'll rant about the time again, we'll see...)
Results:
April won the challenge with her punk baby doll look beating out Andy's bathing suit.
Casanova was auf'd - for making a grandmother dress. Really it was horrid. April got saved even if she sent out a dress which was nothing, and then blaming her partner for it.
