Project Runway - There IS an "I" in Team
Sorry for the lack of Project Runway coverage for this season, but I finally got to watch a full episode tonight.
My first impression is the one hour and thirty minute format might be a bit too long -- it feels more drawn out than ever instead of the "meaty" show they were trying to achieve. Maybe I just find the cast this season a bit boring, I don't know. Or I'm just unfamiliar.
At any rate, it was a group challenge tonight and I have to say, I was so unimpressed with all the dresses that were made by the two groups - am I so jaded already? I'm going to have to look at the cast dynamics again next week because as far as design I wasn't feeling anyone this week.
So the winner was Cassanova from Team Military and Lace, and A.J. was auf'd from Team Luxe.
Team Luxe tried to put a united front during deliberation and was throwing Michael under the bus -- which was futile because Michael had immunity and could not be eliminated.
At the end of the show, Tim Gunn called out Team Luxe for allowing Gretchen (the team leader) to manipulate them. So I guess Gretchen should have gone home but they kept her anyway for future drama?
Hopefully, I will get more into the show next week. What have your impressions been of the show this season? Is it good?
