Project Runway - The Sky Is the Limit - Recap

Okay so I forgot to blog about Project Runway last week. Ugh. I need a calendar. Anyway...

Michael Kors is back, though Nina Garcia is out and from the previews won't be back next week either. Anyway, glad to have some of Michael Kors' snarkiness back, we needed it.

So tonight a team challenge for the Macy's INC line. It's also a one-day challenge. The teams of two need to create two looks in blue.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Louise is teamed up with Nicolas who has immunity this week. Even though he hates it, he allows Louise to go crazy on the ruffles.

Christopher is teamed with Epperson, and they make two unrelated looks.

Irina is teamed up with Gordana (my favorite designer this season at the moment) and they come up with the best looks.

Althea is teamed up with Logan.

Carol Hannah is teamed up with Shirin.

During criticism, Irina slammed Gordana a little bit even if they both ended up in the Top 2 teams. Why?

For the Bottom 2, we get Louise's team and Christopher's team. And then I realized how I missed Michael Kors -- my love hate relationship was renewed. Some zingers:

"This looks like a bridesmaid's dress with a shower loofa ruched up the front of it."

"The fabric has the shine, I guess maybe you guys thought that was a little bit of a twist... I actually think it looks like a tablecloth."

"... then I get to this teal charmeuse disco pump."

And then Christopher starts crying. Which makes this episode so worth it.

Results!

Irina wins. She gets to design a holiday dress for the INC line for Macy's.

Louise is out. Ruffles did her in.

Over at Models of the Runway...

Irina picks first and switches models. She chose Tanisha and her former model Katie was pissed. However, she was picked by Christopher. A lot of model switching it turns out... and then... Vanessa (the Carrie-Ann Moss look-a-like) is out. Oh how sad.
