Project Runway - Season 9 Premiere - Come As You Are
Project Runway is back!
The show starts with 20 designers then 4 are immediately auf'ed after one final presentation to the judges. Since we didn't really get to see much of them, I've forgotten the 4 designers already -- why did the show even include this? For the extra 30 minutes?
The 16 designers go to their hotel, then at 5 am, Tim Gunn wakes them up for a "come as you are" party. They are allowed to bring one bedsheet with them. The challenge is to make a dress out of their pajamas and the sheet.
16 designers are still too much for me to follow, but the ones that stand out for me are Anya who just learned how to sew 4 months before she got on the show (she was also in a sex tape scandal), Bert the 57-year-old designer who took an 18 year break, Rafael the camel-toe removing expert from Atlanta, Oliver with his cute exotic accent and Anthony Ryan the color blind testicular cancer survivor.

Results:
Bert is the winner! He gets immunity for the next challenge.
Rafael is auf'ed! Too bad. He was an interesting character. Unfortunately his skills are way below average.
