Project Runway - Recycle Episode

(I'll have to honest here, I am so tired. You can only watch a few man-hours of TV and blog about all of them in one night before you get a headache. So I'll try to keep this short and sweet.)

The recycle episode! The designers of Project: Runway go to a recycling warehouse in New Jersey ("ugly" Laura calls Jersey -- we agree! -- at least the area directly beside New York City). Here they pick out materials to make their dress. Hmmm.

There were a couple of really fugly designs this week: Vincent, Alison and Kayne. Boy was Kayne's fugly:

Fortunately, Kayne has had some good work in the previous episodes and the judges gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Thankfully also, Robert Best didn't screw up this week, and came up with a good enough dress:

And the winner of this challenge... Michael Knight! Woohoo! Two wins in a row. Jeffrey is upset. Go go go Michael!

Now that Bradley is gone, and Robert Best is kinda faltering, Michael and Laura (yup) are my current bets to go all the way. Laura is kinda boring I know, but her designs are sellable and have a distinct look. Michael meanwhile is a very exciting designer -- and he's only getting better.

Finally, bows and Project: Runway do not mix!

Cutie Alison -- who is the crush of the many straight males who watch Project: Runway -- is out.

This upset Laura so much that she got mad at Vincent for calling his model's non-walk walk "exciting". Vincent then told her to swallow another Winston diamond or something to that effect. Ah yes, catfights involving Winston diamonds.
