It was kinda weird seeing Apolo judge dresses, but that's what makes Project Runway so entertaining. The designers were assigned to make "runway" outfits for a U.S.A. athlete during the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games. On hindsight this was blatant cross-network promotions (and I should have been angry at all the corporate manipulation in the guise of entertainment) -- but, it turned out to be an entertaining challenge anyway, so whatev.
