Project Runway 7 - Episode 8: The Elements of Fashion - Recap
Challenge: Create a look inspired by one of the four natural elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Oooh! Just like Avatar: the last Airbender!
Not too much footage on Jay Nicolas Sario tonight because he has immunity. And Emilio Sosa did well -- so not too much footage there either.
Instead we get more scenes from the other designers who struggled.
Ben Chmura designed a jockstrap pair of pants. (Water?)
Amy Sarabi designed a bowl dress. (Fire?)
Anthony Williams designed a black and gray dress. (Fire! As in after the fire... ashes! LOL)
Mila Hermanovski designed a non-black dress... (Earth) ... and failed.
And the winner is: Jonathan - with his Air dress. Which was just OK to me.
Ben Chmura is auf'ed! That jockstrap was unforgivable. Why?
It's interesting that the judges set up Maya Luz for elimination (at some point) by saying "she doesn't know who she is". We all thought she would be eliminated two episodes ago when she did not have a collection during Fashion Week when 10 other contestants did. Well, it's gonna happen soon now. Maybe next episode?
