Project Runway 7 - Episode 7: Hard Wear - Recap
OMG the fashion on Project Runway tonight looked so painful.
Challenge: Create an unconventional look using hardware materials
Also design an accessory to enhance the look.
First of all, I just realized watching this episode that I do have a crush on Emilio Sosa. LOL. Maybe it's his eyes and lisp. Hahaha. He did so poorly tonight I wanted to give him a hug.
What did he do? Well, he almost did not make a dress. He had some washers and string and ended up making a bathing suit! It was a total disaster. Thankfully, I think the judges like him so they spared him -- but really -- if this was the first challenge, he would have been auf'ed on the spot. In fairness, he was able to defend himself well during the critique which is what probably saved him in the end.
My other favorite -- cute gay Asian (and Filipino) Jay Nicolas Sario was brilliant tonight. His faux-leather look using garbage bags was just genius from concept to execution. Will he win the show? I am very excited!
Results:
The winner is Jay Nicolas!
Jesse was auf'ed -- a little bit unfairly because Emilio had clearly the worst outfit we had seen on the runway in a very long time.
