Project Runway 7 - Episode 2: The Fashion Farm - Recap

There are still a lot of designers on Project Runway, so it's the usual getting rid of the cannon fodder episode while establishing some storylines. Right now it's all about Ping Wu, Anthony and Jesus -- can they survive another day?
Challenge: Create a party look from a burlab potato sack. Nice.
There was also a role reversal: the models got to choose their designers. Everyone chose their original designer initially, and then Alexis changes designers. She switches from Mila to Anthony. The after the other models end up switching -- Mila is the last to be chosen. Mila was very bitter -- but she ended up doing well in the challenge.
I have to say, I love Ping Wu now. So entertaining. We know she's a trainwreck but she's very endearing at least to me. I hope she sticks around for a few more episodes. The "I'm my own model form" doesn't get old.
For the judging, happy that Michael Kors and Nina Garcia are sticking out -- and we are beginning to feel some continuity again with the critques. Keep our fingers crossed that they are both on the show till the end. Actress Lauren Hutton is the guest judge.
Results:
Jay Nicolas Sario won the challenge with his faux feathers. Go cute gay brown Asians!
Pamela is auf'd after making her model's butt look really big. Seriously. The jean color was great, but it was such an unflattering cut.
Over at Models of the Runway:
A lot of model switching started by Ping of all people, and it's all a blur to me because there are just too many names. In the end, Ping Wu's model got eliminated.
Next week, looks like Seth will emerge as the villain of the season -- and he's scary!
