Project Runway 4 - Episode 9 - Even Designers Get the Blues
The designers work on denim.
I have to admit that even if Christian Siriano is annoying, he's the most interesting person on Project Runway right now. What a shame. Did something go wrong with the casting somewhere?
Rami Kashou at last designed something out of his comfort zone which looked good. I really liked the zippers he used. Sweet P also had a breakout dress (thanks to some tips from Tim Gunn). And finally Ricky Lizalde makes a dress that showed off his lingerie experience.
And the designer auf'd on Project Runway this week is:
Victorya Hong!
It was time. She designed a totally uninspired dress which the judges were kind enough not to call pathetic in front of her face.
I thought in the beginning that Victorya's designs were clean and sophisticated like Chloe Dao, but Victorya was inconsistent, and ultimately not that good a designer after all.
Ricky Lizalde won the challenge and his design will be onsale as a limited edition on levi.com. I think it's pretty awesome. You can buy it for $168. Go Ricky!
So we wonder: 6 designers are left and Ricky, Chris March and Sweet P are still in it. Sigh.
