Prince William and Kate Middleton Expecting Second Child
Another royal baby is on the way! Prince William and Kate Middleton, are expecting their second child. This, just one year after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first child, Prince George.
“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news,” the official statement from Buckingham Palace read.
Although no due date has been announced for the baby, the palace confirmed that the pregnancy is still in the first trimester.
However, while this is certainly happy news, it's news that had to be released a bit earlier than the royal family expected, as Kate's sudden, acute morning sickness prompted her to cancel an appearance at an event in Oxford that was set for Monday. The cancellation forced their hand, and so the royal family made the announcement official -- over Twitter, of course.

“As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum,” read the statement by the royal family. “The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”
Here's hoping for a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy baby to go along with it. Any predictions on whether Prince George will be getting a brother or a sister? I'm putting my hat in the ring for sister, this time.
But whether it's a boy or a girl, this is tremendous news. Congratulations to William and Kate!
