Prince titles new song after 'This Could Be Us' meme

Prince has named his new single 'This Could B Us' after the Internet meme 'This Could Be Us'. He posted some lyrics on Twitter today after posting a teaser two days ago -- a picture of him with Purple Rain co-star Apollonia with text: "This could be us... but you playin".

Prince, who famously shunned the Internet a few years ago -- calling the "Internet dead" in 2010 -- has now embraced it whole-heartedly. In fact, he's already co-opted it.

I guess he knew what we didn't know a few years ago: this is just too easy for him. We all live in Prince's world now.

This Could B Us Lyrics

but U b playin'
this could be us
but U keep on foolin' around

Eye'm jus sayin'
