Fitzy is putting on a play at school and Aria begs to be his stage manager to spend more time with him. Shockingly, she's not worried about appearing desperate. All the extra time together starts to work on their nerves. Especially with Aria slipping up and calling Fitzy by his first name, I'm having trouble believing no one is noticing that they're dating. Mona seems to suspect something. She orders Aria around and makes "naughty" comments. Will she spill the beans? After Ezra has a beer with Aria's dad and learns that she's been looking at colleges in California, he starts to pull away from her. They each get snappy and end up fighting in the theater room seconds after everyone leaves. How does no one hear this? Is their relationship doomed?
Things are getting more complicated for Hanna as she tries to hide Caleb from her mom. It was only a matter of time before she saw his junk. Hanna's mom shows up unexpectedly when Caleb is taking a shower and Hanna hops in without thinking so her mom doesn't catch him. She also sneaks a peek at his tush until he turns around. Awkward. But really, who could blame her? He's a beautiful specimen. Things get super awkward between them after this and Hanna can barely look him in the eye. It's a shame because they have great chemistry. Caleb finally can't take the tension anymore and packs his things. Hanna persuades him to stay by making out with him. Get it girl!
Spencer's featured a lot in this episode. It's suspicious. Ian is also heavily suspicious but almost too much so that I'm starting to think he's innocent. Ian calls Spencer out for thinking he had something to do with Ali's death and I really didn't think they were going to go there. Things are probably gonna be super weird for them at the dinner table now. We get a flashback to a frat party that Alison has sneaked the girls into. But not just any frat party, but Ian's frat party. Suddenly Ian telling Spencer that Ali was stalking him makes more sense. The party comes to a dramatic close when a girl is heard screaming and found at the bottom of the stairs. Initially, the girls think Ian pushed her. No way if you ask me. I would have said Melissa but..was it Alison? Was that girl standing between her and Ian?
Spencer has been getting closer to Toby and Emily is hurt she's been replaced. Did she even really keep in touch with him? Toby lets them know that Jenna was the one who turned him in as a way of keeping him close to home. Girl is nuts. Spencer asks Toby to steal her phone after she sees Jenna with Ian. What did he give her? I don't know what this is going to tell them but I guess they want to find out if Ian has been calling Jenna. They ask Caleb to try and crack the phone for them but he's unable to do it. But of course. We won't find Ian in there but we will find someone else...
The girls get a shock when they discover a trophy with Ian's name on it covered in blood. They panic and decide now is the time to turn a piece of evidence over to the police. It's iffy evidence. They should have turned in the video. The cops come to school to question the girls about false evidence. Turns out the trophy was covered in rat blood. A set them up. But why? Spencer's fingerprints are all over that trophy now. Why does it look like A wants to set Spencer up?
