'Pretty Little Liars' Star Lucy Hale To Record Country Album
Writing and recording with producer Mark Bright in Nashville this summer, Lucy will embark on a radio tour this fall. Her first single is set for release on DMG Nashville/Bigger Picture Group in 2014, mentioning that fans will either "love it or hate it"! Hmm! Not sure what that's supposed to mean!
“Music is my heart and I’m so blessed to say that this album turned out to be something I’m very proud of,” Lucy notes. “I’m unbelievably excited to hit the road this fall to meet country radio and share what I’ve been working on and feel extremely lucky to work alongside DMG Nashville, Hollywood Records, Bigger Picture Group and the awesome Mark Bright.”
Apparently some of her favorite artists are Martina McBride, Faith Hill and Shania Twain, and she grew up in Memphis, TN so obviously the girl has it in her blood. I can't help but feel though that looking at her surroundings nowadays and the kind of profile she has built, that the album will be pop country if anything else. We shall have to see though. All I can say is country fans are pretty picky on who they allow into the circle...
