Pretty Little Liars - A Person Of Interest - Recap

The girls are questioned by the police for delivering false evidence. Their parents seem to think they are all just victims of a cruel joke but it's much more calculated than that. Spencer is by far getting the worst of it. Looks like A is laying off Hanna for awhile and ruining Spencer's life by framing her. Even her parents are turning on her. It's bad enough Melissa and Ian are telling Spencer that she's crazy but they've convinced her parents of it as well. They think Spencer needs help and suggest she see a therapist to deal with her conspiracy theories. This makes me rage so much. Are they just pretending that the video all four of the girls saw of Ian with Alison doesn't exist? Ugh. Poor Spencer.
Spencer seeks comfort in spending time with Toby. She drops him off at a motel to spend the weekend so he can get away from Jenna. While there, Spencer hears a flute playing from room 214. Dun dun dun. They bribe a maid to get in and find Jenna's sunglasses inside. Is Jenna the one staying at the hotel? Is she out and about without her sunglasses? Does she not need them? Hmm. Spencer spends the night with Toby in the hotel room to keep an eye on the room next door. They fill their time with Scrabble and Spencer doesn't wear any pants. You would think Spencer could afford the deluxe edition of that game. They get inside the next morning to find a stereo playing the flute music and a note from A. "You're getting colder." Who rented the room?
I know Jenna is blind and all and seeking revenge, but she still seems like such a bitch. She seems to know about Aria and Ezra so that makes it all the more unsettling when Aria discovers they've been spending time together. Jenna has been dropping hints about her accident not being an accident. Aria's guilt gets the best of her and she decides it's a good idea to tell Ezra about what really happened that night. He still loves her despite what she told him but I can't help but think that that's going to come back and bite her in the ass.
Caleb has a few more close calls with Hanna's mom. He really shouldn't linger to kiss her over cereal. When they come home from school and kiss a little, they get an unpleasant surprise when they notice Hanna's mom watching them. Awkward. Not even a polite "Ahem" to alert them to her presence. She found Caleb's things in the basement and knows he's been staying there. She kicks him out of the house and Hanna goes with him. They camp out in the woods and roast marshmallows for the night. How does Hanna feel safe in THOSE woods? There's a killer on the loose. I guess her mind is distracted inside the tent while she loses her V card. Hanna goes home the next day and criticizes her mom for not understanding Caleb's situation. Apparently Ashley should be familiar with this. She invites Caleb to stay in the guest room but she may have made the wrong decision. Caleb makes a call to (Jenna?) telling them he can't "Do this anymore." Do what? Spy on Hanna? Play with her emotions? Jerk! I was rooting for you.
When Spencer goes home the next day after Toby gives her a kiss (yay!) things just get worse. She goes home to find that the cops are there and Melissa is crying at the kitchen table. She tells Spencer she made a mistake of questioning Ian. He has been covering for her at Hilton Head that summer. She was pregnant at the time and they had gone there to get an abortion. The cops now know that Spencer lied to them about being in a relationship with Ian and she is now a person of interest in the murder of Alison. Oh no! Save Spencer!
