Pre-op

I'm getting a tonsillectomy on Friday morning at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Wish me luck. After the operation, two weeks of pain. I've stocked up on liquid foods: soups, yogurt, pudding. I'm going to buy a blender so I can make smoothies. The doctor said I won't lose my voice, but the resonance will change a little. Hmmm. I also thought of writing some notes down -- you know, like my name, etc. -- just in case of memory loss from general anesthesia. However, I have no time. I have to rest. So if things are weirder than normal over here for the next few days, you know what happened. I should be up an about by 2 PM on Friday.

What an interesting life. I still have to write the Idol concert recap! My retreat recap is two months overdue! Sigh.
