'The Powerpuff Girls' 15th Anniversary special to air in January 2014, featuring Ringo Starr

The Powerpuff Girls are coming back to television in an all new special for the show's 15th Anniversary, featuring legendary Beatles musician Ringo Starr!

Nearly a year later after the news was first reported, the girls are set to return in a redesigned CG special, Dance Pantsed. Ringo Starr guest stars as a "flamboyant mathematician" named Fibonnaci Sequins, who is kidnapped by the villain Mojo Jojo. The Powerpuff Girls - Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup set out to thwart Mojo's plan.

Starr has also filmed/recorded an original music video and song “I Wish I Was a Powerpuff Girl” for the special. Nice!

E.G. Daily, who just recently competed on the last season of The Voice, returns to voice Buttercup!

Dance Pantsed premieres on Monday, January 20th at 7:30pm in Cartoon Network.
