Post-op - Update

I am saddened to report that I've been engulfed by some sort of weather-related depression. It's started to get cold in the Northeast and I'm getting the blues -- not even the Fall-fashions are helping. Sigh. However, I'm pleased to announce that I've almost turned the corner on this tonisillectomy thing. I still feel something at the back of my throat, but not the pain of the past few weeks. I've not taken the pain meds for a couple of days now. Mornings are still bad, but not miserable, so I'm almost there! I think the fact that I started working again last week slowed down my healing progress, but I've been resting this weekend. One of the soups I was taking, the Summer Squash soup, also did a number on my stomach this weekend so I've been having to deal with that as well. But I'm dealing! Thanks for all your support through this ordeal.
