Pitbull to host the 2013 American Music Awards

For the first time since 2008, the American Music Awards will have a host, and its none other than the 305's own Pitbull.

Recent years have seen the show facilitated by presenters. Pitbull will also perform his new single, "Timber," featuring Ke$ha. Pitbull said, "I am truly honored to be hosting the 2013 American Music Awards. The night is only about one thing fun! So buckle and get ready. Dále!” I'm so annoyed with him always saying that word.

Performers announced so far include: Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Miley Cyrus, Florida Georgia Line, Imagine Dragons, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and One Direction.

The awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, November 24th at 8pm.
