PHOTO: 'Girl Meets World' Poster Features Girl, Also World

Girl Meets World is coming to Disney Channel later this year, possibly even as soon as this summer! But even if we have to wait longer, there's plenty to get excited about, where this Boy Meets World spinoff is concerned: the trailer is one thing, and a full-season order is quite another, but it's the return of former Boy Meets World castmates Lee Norris (Minkus) and Danny McNulty (Harley Keiner) that has me weirdly stoked, for some reason.

And that's not all! We've got a poster to get stoked over now! And not just any poster. This poster verifies that Girl Meets World has a girl in it, as well as a logo with a world in place of an "O", conjuring up memories of glorious 90s nostalgia. And right on top of the nostalgia in this poster are Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as Cory and Topanga Matthews, the former lovebirds who are now the parents of Rowan Blanchard's Riley Matthews. It's a poster that finds room for all the principals of the cast, which is more than can be said for a lot of TV posters these days, believe it or not. Ditto movies. With that said, it's positively absurd how excited I am for a series that is in no way geared towards my age bracket, but that's basically the way nostalgia works.
