Philip Seymour Hoffman's autopsy results have finally been released, revealing that several drugs and a massive overdose were the cause of the Oscar-winner's death.
According to the New York City medical examiner, Hoffman had a mixture of heroin, cocaine and several prescription drugs in his system when he was discovered. Specifically benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety pills) and amphetamines.
Or as the cause of death is officially listed: acute mixed drug intoxication.
The deadly combination of heroin and cocaine is also what killed Chris Farley, River Phoenix and John Belushi.
Hoffman died in his New York City apartment at the age of 46 on Feb. 2. The original autopsy results proved inconclusive.
