Philip Seymour Hoffman's Autopsy Results Prove Inconclusive

Philip Seymour Hoffman's autopsy results were expected to be released before today, but tests trying to determine his cause of death have been inconclusive.

Due to this setback, a spokesperson for the New York medical examiner's office says more tests will be necessary.

She went on to add that there is no timeline for when this tests will be completed.

So far four suspects have been arrested in connection with Hoffman's death and are being questioned about selling drugs to the late actor.

A private funeral for the Oscar-winner will be held on Friday in New York City for family and close friends. A representative for Hoffman says a memorial service is currently in the works for later in the month.

Hoffman died of an apparent overdose on Sunday (Feb. 2).
