Finch and Reese set to work to protect a Judge whose name pops up from the Machine. His son is kidnapped by a gang and Reese is shot trying to protect him.

A ransom demand is made but they don't want money. They want the Judge to throw out the case of a woman who is up for a hit and run. A random blonde who seemingly has nothing to do with this gang.

She is part of a money laundering scheme and is able to turn the security off at several banks allowing tons of criminals to launder millions of dollars. Reese throws two members of the gang into his trunk and leaves them there until they're ready to talk. With the help of his buddy who is undercover in the police department, Reese is able to hand deliver the gang and the girl who went free for the hit and run to the cops. On the side, Reese tries to break Finch's icy barrier to get to know him a little better. I ship it.
