Person of Interest - Ghosts - Recap

Reese and Finch struggle to test the Machine's reliability when it returns the number of a girl who was killed a few years ago. While working to track down the girl, Reese tries to learn more about Finch and why it's so important to him to keep his life private. I think he has a crush to be honest. And who could blame him? Are we seeing Michael Emerson's adorable sideburns in this episode?

He learns that Harold is his name and he works as a software engineer in a company that he actually owns. He finds it beneficial to work in secret amongst all the employees. He's hiding something about losing someone and we're treated to small flashbacks when he first discovered the Machine's actions. Surprise LOST reference! It's Goodwin! And they're buddies! I love it. Is this who he lost?

I feel like this episode was the first time we saw Reese get his butt kicked. I mean sure, he shoots the guy eventually but it was weird seeing someone get away. They discover that Theresa is an heir to a huge fortune and is the only surviving member of her family left, making her a target. Reese leaves her with Harold in a hotel room while he tries to stop the killer from finding them. The gunman finds them first and the two of them are chased and almost gunned down in the hall until Reese turns up out of nowhere to save them. Harold should have been grateful that his new BFF saved his life but instead, he leaves his job so Reese can't track him down again.
