Person of Interest - Season 3 Episode 5 - Recap - PA37ABOP
In this week's new episode of Person of Interest, Shaw meets her match in a 10 year old girl who wants to be an international spy. I was kind of hoping her name would be Harriet. Anyone?
"PA37ABOP" Recap:
In other news, the series is taking this episode to try to make Shaw (Sarah Shahi) more relatable. Or at least explain why she lacks emotions and people skills. No actual explanation is given but during a few flashbacks, Shaw is involved in a bad car accident that kills her father and she barely reacts at all.
That being said, Shaw has her moments. "I'm only in it for the dog" is a good one. Giving herself a blood transfusion from a random guy? Could be badass but it's just kind of gross.
This kid is wanted by HR for accidentally recording some big evidence that proves they're manufacturing their own designer drugs for cash.
Wouldn't you know it, that damn Detective Simmons is behind all of this. Carter (Taraji P. Henson) is still investigating and tracking HR on the side. She's trying to find their leader and she's got her pesky partner getting in her way.
Thankfully, this episode is what we've been waiting for. Lasky gets a smackdown from Carter. She's no fool. She knows who he's working for. This clip was more glorious while watching it at Comic Con but it's still pretty satisfying.
He calls Carter an "arrogant bitch who doesn't know her place." OH NO HE DIDN'T.
I love watching Carter wipe the smug grin off his stupid face. I want her to destroy him. Right now, he's so scared that I think he peed on his chair. "You work for me now." YES. Get him, Carter!
It was very satisfying watching Reese finally kick Simmons' ass but I'm still loving Carter more than Shaw. Root has a crush on Shaw too it seems. She shows up in the middle of the night to take her. Why does she need her? Whatever her plans may be, we'll find out in the next episode.
Cliffhanger!
