The gang has some bad luck right off the bat when their latest number is blown up right in front of them. Vigilance was behind the attack because the woman worked for the government and security clearances. After their failure, Finch (Michael Emerson) sends Shaw (Sarah Shahi) and Reese (Jim Caviezel) to go undercover at a high school reunion while he and Detective Fusco (Kevin Chapman) head to DC to investigate Vigilance further.

Shaw and Reese will be looking after Matthew, guest star Nestor Carbonell. He's a high profile prosecutor who isn't the most popular guy at the reunion. No, his classmates aren't jealous of his lashes. They think he murdered his old girlfriend back in the day. I am loving everything about this episode. The stoner classmate with the innocent, yet hilarious, one-liners. The fact that John keeps getting slapped because the man he's impersonating was a womanizer. And I'm loving the way Matthew can get Shaw to smile.

I feel like I'm watching Miss Congeniality.

Someone keeps reminding everyone at the reunion of the murder that allegedly took place. Is it a night of revenge on Claire? Matthew writes a suicide note for the friend of Claire's who actually was responsible for her death and takes a gun out. He wants revenge for having to take the blame all these years. I was rooting for you, lashes. :(.

Someone else in the room isn't who they say they are. A domestic terrorist from Vigilance turns up and he's there for Reese and Shaw. A bunch of his goons follow suit and it's guns blazin'. Root (Amy Acker) appears in Shaw's ear to let her know that she leaked their location so that she could figure out how Vigilance was communicating. This leads her to realize that Harold is about to be in some trouble himself.

When Finch gets his hands on some top secret documents about Northern Lights, Mr. Collier shows up to ruin the party. This guy is one slippery snake. I am both hating and loving him. He steals the documents and Vigilance leaks them to the press.

This forces the people behind Northern Lights, including the mysterious woman who calls herself Control (Camryn Manheim) to shut down the program. And oh boy, is Collier on her list.

Is the country now unprotected without their machine??
