Pauly D of the 'Jersey Shore' Is a Dad

Well fellow New Jersyans, we knew it was too good to be true. Cory Booker gets elected to senate, gay marriage is legalized and then all that hard work and respect crumbles away because someone made Pauly D a father.

This is why we can't have nice things!

The former Jersey Shore star says the mother of his child is a woman he hooked up with in Vegas of last year while DJing and that a paternity test has already proven him to be the father.

Said Pauly D, who now has more to worry about than taking care of the GTL, "I'm proud I'm a father.  I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."

The baby girl is just a few months old and is currently living with her 26-year-old mother. Thank goodness for small favors.
