Paula Deen Compares Her Problems to 'That Black Football Player'

Celebrity chef Paula Deen wants to get her good name back, comparing her struggle to do so as similar to NFL hopeful Michael Sam's admission that he's gay. Or as she calls him, "that black football player."
"I feel like 'embattled' or 'disgraced' will always follow my name. It’s like that black football player who recently came out," Deen explained to People in the worst way possible.
She continued, "He said, 'I just want to be known as a football player. I don’t want to be known as a gay football player.' I know exactly what he’s saying."

Just kidding, we get what Paula Deen was going for, her modifier just shouldn't have been "that black football player" when "that football player who came out" would have been more than enough for us to know what she was talking about.
