Grisly new details have been released following the November death of actor Paul Walker as well as claims that his character will be retired from the Fast & Furious franchise.
Walker's final autopsy was released today (Jan. 3) which revealed that the Porsche that Walker was a passenger in was going over 100 MPH at the time of impact.
The report also revealed that Walker was found in a "pugilistic" stance, meaning that he was braced for impact at the time of his death.
A previous autopsy had revealed the cause of death, specifically that Walker died of traumatic and thermal injuries.
In light of his passing, sources are claiming that the studio wants to "retire" his character to satisfy fans as well as use existing footage from Fast 7 filming.
Said source also claimed that the film's director and writers have found a way to tweak the script in order to end the arc of Walker's character while still allowing the franchise to continue without him.
And since the film is currently on hiatus from filming, that is certainly possible.
