Patrick Wilson Cast in 'Ant-Man'

Patrick Wilson is the latest star to join Marvel's Ant-Man.

The actor revealed his involvement at the SXSW Festival, confirming that he has an "important" role in the film, although remaining evasive about the nature of that role. When asked if he would be playing a hero or villain, he stated, "Can't tell you."

The cast for the Edgar Wright film already includes Paul Rudd as the Scott Lang version of Ant-Man, and Michael Douglas as predecessor Hank Pym. Given that the two lead roles have already been cast, I would assume Wilson would be on the villain side of things, but it's all just speculation at this point. I suppose we won't have to wait too long to find out, since filming will have to begin soon for Ant-Man to meet its July 17, 2015 release date.
