Orlando Bloom Took a Swing at Justin Bieber over Miranda Kerr (VIDEO)
In possibly the most random celebrity feud since Keifer Sutherland and Freddie Prinze, Jr. decided they didn't like each other all that much, Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber nearly came to blows after a confrontation at Cipriani in Ibiza, Spain, early Wednesday.
According to sources, Bieber made a rude comment about Bloom's ex, Miranda Kerr, prompting an enraged Bloom to take a swing at Bieber. This drew cheers from the crowd of spectators, who apparently just wanted to see the kid get what was coming to him, although a source close to Bieber claimed he only made the rude comment after Bloom took a swing.
Apparently, this was the culmination of a feud that's been brewing since 2012, after Bieber flirted with Kerr at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, causing tension in the supermodel's then-marriage to husband, Bloom. By October 2013, the couple had separated. And by April of 2014, Bloom was spending time in public with Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez. This created a cocktail of bad tension between Bloom and Bieber, which boiled over in Ibiza.
“Justin was at one table, and Orlando was at another,” said one source. “But when Bieber and his party were later walking past Bloom’s table, Orlando refused to shake Bieber’s hand.”
The source then said it was at this point where Bieber "said something rude to Orlando, like, ‘She was good.'"
However, another source insists Bloom was the instigator: "Justin didn’t even know Orlando was there. But when they saw each other, it was Orlando who was just being an a-hole to Justin."
Regardless, no matter which of the two got things started, the confrontation quickly got physical.
“They got in each other’s faces and there were words,” a source said. “But they were separated by their entourages.”
A thirty second clip of the confrontation was snapped by an onlooker, and it apparently features Bieber yelling, “What’s up, bitch?” to Bloom, which resulted in the situation escalating:
"When they were back together again, Orlando threw a punch at Bieber," said an onlooker. "He just tried to pop him! The whole place cheered."
A different spectator even said that the punch didn't miss at all, and that Bloom actually connected with Bieber: "The punch definitely connected," the spectator claimed. "People saw it. That’s why everyone cheered."
As the two men were separated after the punch, Bieber reportedly said, “Say hi to her,” adding fuel to the proverbial fire and suggesting that this feud might not be over. Check out the video of the incident below:
