For the fifth time, the supernova of a star has claimed the top spot on Forbes' annual "Celebrity 100" list. Congratulations, Oprah!

After a few setbacks, including a drop in earnings to $77 million from $165 million, Oprah's fledgling network has finally found its footing. By the end of 2013, the Oprah Winfrey Network is set to begin turning in a profit after a return to what Oprah does best; can't-miss sit-down interviews and discussions surrounding the hot topics of today.

The "Celebrity 100" list is not merely based around money, but rather, around an individual's overall influence and presence. Oprah was not the highest earner on this year's list, but her internet presence as well as her general media fame shot her to the #1 spot.

Oprah is joined in the Top 10 by the likes of other powerful female figures, including Lady Gaga, Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Madonna.
