Oprah gives Lindsay Lohan her own reality show

Oprah Winfrey continues to be one of the most savvy entertainment moguls in the business today when it comes to landing high-profile, media-averse guests.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Oprah has landed Lindsay Lohan for an exclusive sit-down interview after the troubled actress is released from rehab later this summer. But that's not all...
Winfrey’s OWN cable network has signed Lohan for an eight-episode docu-series that "will follow the actress as she works to rebuild her career and stay healthy." While the interview will tape and air in August, the reality series isn't set to air until 2014.
This is a huge coup for Oprah, as Lohan has turned down unscripted reality projects for years on end, although her family participated in the E! series Living Lohan in 2008. Though Lohan has recently been seen in guest-star appearances on FOX’s Glee and FX’s Anger Management, in addition to her well-publicized role as Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick, this will mark the actress's very first reality series. Lohan will next be seen in director Paul Schrader’s upcoming film, The Canyons.
But that all comes later. As for now, the 27-year-old Lohan is expected to complete her 90-day, court-mandated stint in a rehabilitation facility on July 31.
