One Direction - Story of My Life - MP3 Preview

The latest track from One Direction hasn't officially been released in full, but the boy band has unveiled a 16-second preview for the song via their official Soundcloud.

"Story of My Life" is a ballad with a steady, percussive rhythm reminiscent of a softer Mumford and Sons or Phillip Phillips track. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it sounds a bit like Avicii's "Wake Me Up," at least where the song's rhythm is concerned. The preview alone has me genuinely interested to hear the full track, since this feels like a bit of a departure from the usual One Direction song. You can listen to the MP3 Preview below:

"Story of My Life" will be released in full on October 28. The group's third studio album, Midnight Memories, will follow a month later, releasing on November 25 in the UK and November 26 in the US.
