One Direction not collaborating with Justin Bieber

Oh bummer. Liam Payne of One Direction explained why 1D was with Justin Bieber the other night (which prompted bandmate Niall Horan to tweet they were "in the studio" with Justin).

Liam said they were invited by Justin to look around his recording studio and let them listen to his new album. He told Access Hollywood that there isn't any collaboration with Justin.

Sigh. Maybe one day it will happen?

From Metro:

When asked whether they were joining forces with the teenage heartthrob on the set of US prime time show Saturday Night Live yesterday, Liam told Access Hollywood: 'No, we just went down there to have a look around at his recording stuff and he invited us down to have a listen to his album. 'He’s a nice guy and we had a good [listen] to the album, but I don’t think there’s any collaboration in the cards.'
