One Direction in record deal talks with Sony?

One Direction has been spotted outside Sony's headquarters in London -- could this mean a recording contract in the near future? Has this ever happened before?

One Direction is mentored by Simon Cowell on The X Factor and the members are: Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zain Malik (my favorite!) and Niall Horan.

From Metro UK:

The boys pulled up in their chauffer-driven car minutes after Simon Cowell arrived at Sony’s building himself.

An onlooker saw the high-waisted music mogul enter the building just before the five lads – Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zain Malik and Niall Horan – made their entrance. But, naturally, there was a group of fans waiting ready to meet them before they could get through the doors.

Speculation has been rife that the boys will get an early record deal since Cowell gushed about the fivesome on last night's Xtra Factor.

'I genuinely, genuinely believe with all my heart that we’re going to see these boys in the final,' he said, as well as comparing them to music legends Take That.
