Once Upon A Time - Dreamy - Recap

Mary struggles with being the "Town Harlot" when the town continues to avoid her for being the Other Woman who broke up David's marriage. Is no one else aware that it takes two to break up a marriage? David deserves some of this too.

Mary needs help for an annual festival fundraiser selling candles for the town nuns. The only person who will talk to her is Grumpy. Or in Storybrooke, Leroy. He volunteers to help her out after meeting one of the nuns, Astrid. He immediately falls for her and wants to help her.

When Astrid makes a mistake that puts the nuns 5 grand in debut and unable to pay their rent to Mr. Gold. Leroy promises to help sell the candles but he and Mary have no such luck. When Astrid asks how they're doing, he lies and tells her they got her all of the rent money she'll need. Leroy goes to offer and sell his boat to Mr. Gold for the money but he apparently hates nuns. Wonder what they did to him?

In Fairy Tale Land, we see Grumpy hatch from an egg with the rest of his dwarf brothers. It's a nice glimpse into the life of a dwarf. They are immediately put to work in the mines and are given their names from their pickax. Grumpy is named Dreamy. He's a big dreamer. And right now he's dreaming about Astrid's fairy tale counterpart, Nova. She's a clumsy fairy who wants more for herself. Belle makes an appearance to tell him that the feelings he has are love. Nova and Dreamy fall in love and wish to sail around seeing the world together. Dreamy goes to meet his love until the Blue Fairy and his teacher convince him not to. They say dwarfs are incapable of love. Ouila. We have Grumpy.

Leroy doesn't want the same ending. He wants a happy one. He knocks out the power to the festival so everyone is forced to buy a candle. They sell out and get the money Astrid needs. He invites Astrid on his boat that he's going to spend time fixing up. A happy ending!

Emma is investigating the disappearance of David's wife Kathryn. Without any leads and her belongings left behind, Emma demands to see her phone records to see who she last spoke to. Hoping to clear Mary's name, she is shocked to see that David lied about calling her before she disappeared. I don't think he's guilty. I think Regina is really good with computers.
