'Vampire Diaries' Actress Olga Fonda is Engaged

Olga Fonda (Nadia on The Vampire Diaries) got engaged to boyfriend Liam Waite on New Year's Eve.

Geez, is there anyone who didn't get married or engaged on New Year's?

Fonda showed off her ring and confirmed the proposal last night (Jan. 8) at the 2014 People's Choice Awards.

As she told E! News, Waite took her to the place where they had their first kiss before getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him right before the clock truck twelve.

"Then the whole city lit up with fireworks," Nadia beamed as she recalled the night in question. "It was very romantic."
