The Normal Heart - Teaser Trailer - Video

HBO is getting heavy with its latest TV movie event.

The Normal Heart, adapted by Glee creator Ryan Murphy from the award-winning play by Larry Kramer, tells the story of the HIV/AIDS crisis in New York City in the early 1980s. The film stars Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, Julia Roberts and Jim Parsons in ways we're unlikely to have seen them before. It's a radical departure for Bomer and Parsons, at least; and it's a more serious, issues-driven drama than the network shows for which Murphy is best-known. It should be an interesting film, and I can't wait to see it. You can watch the full teaser trailer below:

The Normal Heart premieres Sunday, May 25th at 9pm/8c on HBO.
