'Awkward' Actress Nikki DeLoach Gives Birth

Just in time for the third season mid-series premiere of Awkward (talk about a mouthful) actress Nikki DeLoach, who plays Ashley's mom, gave birth to a son today (Oct. 22).

A rep for DeLoach and her husband, entertainment lawyer Ryan Goodell told Us Weekly that the baby boy's full name is William Hudson Goodell but will be going by merely the name Hudson.

"Mom and baby are doing well and the new parents are overjoyed at the arrival of their first child."

Revealed the actress of how the birth of her bundle of joy would help or hinder her acting, "Moving forward, having a kid is only going to enhance all of my acting in all types of ways because I'll be feeling things I've never felt before."
