NigaHiga - Ryan and Sean's Not So Excellent Adventure
After starting Rickey TV on BlogTV over the Summer, I was introduced to the world of YouTube. I discovered (obviously very late) that there are "YouTube Superstars" out there who have HUGE followings on the Internet. These guys found success by simply being awesome in what they do (debatable), and most of them found fame with almost no publicity but the YouTube home page.
One day while doing Rickey TV, this dude named Ryan Higa (aka NigaHiga) comes in and immediately has 1,400 viewers on his show. Ryan is currently the #2 most subscribed person on YouTube, sometimes reaching #1. Of course, I had to check out his show, and I am now a fan.
Ryan Higa has an indie movie coming out soon. Because I'm a pawn -- and NigaHiga has been making me an OPS every time I visit his show on BlogTV -- I'm promoting it! Woohoo! It will be shown in San Francisco and Los Angeles in November.
