Nicole Scherzinger joins The X Factor UK as permanent judge

Nicole Scherzinger is joining the judging panel on The X Factor UK, replacing Kelly Rowland. She's going to be the fourth judge and not a guest judge in the auditions.

Whatever. I think Simon Cowell has just run out of options. If Nicole isn't good enough for The X Factor US, she's good enough for The X Factor UK? Doesn't make sense. She was one of the reasons fans hated the first season -- and she gets shipped to the UK to create more havok? Sigh.

The X Factor UK may never recover now.

She may have been unceremoniously axed from her judging role on X Factor USA after just one series.

But stunning Nicole Scherzinger is now set to join the UK series as a full-time judge – and her role will be announced within days, show sources have confirmed.

And a source told the Mail: 'Nicole has always seemed more relaxed on the UK series.

'We love her and the judges love her. She seems very comfortable on set and at the auditions.'

X Factor producers were left searching for a new judge after Dannii Minogue turned down a £1 million deal to return to the show after they axed Kelly Rowland.
