Nicole Scherzinger is copying Cheryl Cole on the X Factor

This makes me hate her more now. I can't believe she is doing this!

Nicole Scherzinger wore the same "clashing colors" to the X Factor auditions in Miami yesterday -- the same colors that Cheryl Cole wore during the first auditions of X Factor. What is Nicole trying to prove? I'm raging. She already got the job.

After lasting a mere four auditions, the most enduring image of Cheryl Cole's American X Factor career is perhaps the controversial orange and purple outfit she wore on her first day.

But while the Geordie star was roundly slated for her bold colour blocking, it seems the 27-year-old singer may have started something of a fashion trend.

And today the woman who replaced her on the judging panel - Nicole Scherzinger - had her own stab at wearing the clashing colours as she arrived to auditions in Miami.

However, the 32-year-old upped the sex factor, wearing a very short purple skirted dress - in place of Cole's clownish Diane Von Furstenburg flares.

Nicole's outfit, which was in reverse colour to the one Kim Kardashian wore last week in London, was peach coloured on top and fastened together with a gold belt.
