Nicki Minaj's 'Roman Reloaded' Debuts at #1 on Billboard & Makes UK History

These days, Nicki Minaj reigns supreme in the pop music world! This week, her brand new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded hits the top of the Billboard 200 with 253,000 units sold. This just falls a bit short from her previous studio effort debuting with 375,000 copies sold, despite only bowing at #2. Pink Friday climbed to #1 on February 19, 2011 right around the same time as her hot single "Super Bass" took off.

It should also be noted that her record debuted at #1 in the UK -- she becomes the first rapper in history to do so.

She took to Twitter to express her excitement and gratitude to her Barbz:
The lead single "Starships" is currently in the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100, and she recently released her "Beez in the Trap" music video. Take a look:
